Hi, I’m Bex. I’m crowdfunding to save my parent’s house. The past few months have been incredibly hard on us. My mom has terminal cancer and an inoperable brain tumor. Her health is declining quickly, and she is on outpatient hospice at home. On top of that, my dad is experiencing a rapid cognitive decline and short-term memory loss. I realized the extent of this memory loss when I discovered that he is so behind on mortgage payments that the house is in foreclosure. The house that my dear grandmother left him, that his father built. I was able to figure out how much exactly is needed to be paid and reinstate the mortgage, but I am about 2k short.
