Help Bethany Keep Her Home

Hi, my name is Michael Martineau. In the past, we have donated to GoFundMe causes and been recipients of a GoFundMe when a flood did major damage to our home. Today, I'm asking for your help for a family member who is certainly deserving of help from this community.

“Courage is the mental and moral strength to face danger, fear, or difficulty, often described as bravery.” This truly admired virtue perfectly describes Bethany, an inspirational single mother who has dedicated her life to providing for her daughter. Despite living with osteogenesis imperfecta (brittle bone disease), she successfully completed a degree in Education and has spent her career in early childhood education, making a positive difference in the lives of countless children.

Unfortunately, she has been out of work for 2 years due to ongoing health challenges. Recently, she qualified for her dream home through Habitat for Humanity. However, these challenges have made it difficult for her to sustain her mortgage payments. Her daughter, who has graduated and is now working full-time, is doing her best to help support them.

Bethany has applied for SSDI disability benefits but has faced repeated denials. We are seeking support to ensure she doesn’t lose her home, with a goal to raise enough to cover her mortgage and provide assistance while she continues to pursue disability benefits.
