Repair Elwood Rd: Long-term solution for All!**

**The Problem:**

By law, every homeowner is responsible for the road section in front of their property—but tackling potholes **individually** is costly and temporary. Let’s **pool our resources** to repave *the whole road at once*! This saves money, ensures quality, and prevents repeat repairs.

**The Plan:**

We’re raising funds via **GoFundMe** (for secure, transparent tracking) with two options:

1. **$6,500 for ground asphalt millings** (durable stopgap)

2. **$11,000 for asphalt paving** (long-term solution)

**Fair Cost Sharing:**

- **~$300/home** (millings) **or ~$500/home** (paving)

- **OR ~$4/foot** (millings) **or ~$7/foot** (paving)

*Pay what you can—every dollar helps!*. There is an option to make a monthly pledge as well, so even if you only have $10 or $20 to spare, it definitely adds up!

**⏳6 month Deadline:**

- If we don’t hit **80% of our goal ($5,200 for millings)** in 6 months**all donations will be refunded**.

- If we succeed, we’ll **extend for 60 days** to see if we can upgrade to paving!

**UPDATE** We are extending the deadline by 2 months (until May) to see if we can get just a couple more donations, and/or fix at least a portion of the road with what we have.
