Dear Friends and Community,

Bernie suffered a massive heart attack on Thursday, October 30th. He was taking care of his kids and collapsed at home and his son called 911. He was taken to the Hospital and is in critical condition. The doctor said he wouldn’t make it. He’s still here today. On November 6th, he went into cardiac arrest and was placed back on life support. VERY SCARY but by the grace and mercy of God, he’s already been extubated.

The most important part of Bernie’s life is undoubtedly his family. Ata is Bernie’s amazing wife, and they are parents of three wonderful children, Zion, age 14, Amanaki, age 12 and Chris, age 2.

Please keep his recovery in prayer. He still needs surgery but is too weak right now. Pray for his heart to regain full strength, rhythm, and stability. Pray that his blood flow will be restored, and that his body will be strong enough for the surgery ahead. We’re believing God for a full recovery and complete healing. Also pray for his medical team.

They will need help covering rent, utilities, medical bills, and daily living expenses.
