Dear friends and kind-hearted strangers,

My name is Jennifer Mason-Leanza from Staten Island, NY and my beloved grandmother Bernice, who spent most of her life in Bushwick, New York, moved to California to support her grandson’s dreams and seek a new beginning. Tragically, the recent wildfires spreading throughout California have taken everything from her. She has lost all her belongings, from essential items like her personal documents and clothes to irreplaceable memories and pictures and, most devastatingly, her cherished cat, who did not make it out despite her most desperate attempts.

At 75 years old, she has nowhere to go and urgently needs our help. She now faces the daunting task of rebuilding her life from scratch. We are asking for your help during this difficult time. Your generous contributions will go towards finding her a new home, replacing essential belongings, and helping her start anew.
