My grandma Bernice has lived in Triadelphia, WV for many years, and her home was recently devastated by a severe flood. The force of the water shifted her house from its foundation, making it unsafe and uninhabitable. In a matter of hours, she lost not only her home but all of her belongings, including furniture, clothing, and cherished personal items. Right now, Bernice is staying with family while we search for a safe apartment where she can begin to rebuild her life.
Bernice is facing urgent expenses as she tries to recover from this disaster. She needs help replacing essential items, making a down payment for a new apartment, and furnishing her new place so she can feel at home again. Unfortunately, she hasn’t received assistance from insurance or local organizations, so our family and community are doing everything we can to support her. Any contribution will go directly toward helping Bernice get back on her feet and regain a sense of stability after this life-changing event. Your kindness and support mean the world to us as we help her start over.
