Help Benjamin LaSala Build a Community Food Pantry

Hello!

Please allow me to introduce myself. My name is Benjamin LaSala, I am a scout with Boy Scout Troop 440, and I am currently working on obtaining the rank of Eagle Scout.

As my Eagle Scout project, I am planning to build and install a Food Pantry Box outside of the Monroe Town Hall to offer additional options to the food-insecure people of Monroe. The structure will have a refrigerator on one side and shelving for dry goods on the other side. Anyone will be able to access and take food as they need.

My project has been approved by the town supervisor, and the food pantry "Our Father's Kitchen" has generously committed to keeping the box stocked.

I will also be holding a food drive at the end of my project in order in order to kickstart the pantry and to fill the box with supplies.
