Ben is only 24 years old & suffers from a progressive illness called Friedreichs ataxia . This has essentially robbed Ben of a ‘normal’ youth, due to Ben’s illness he is completely confined to an electric wheelchair. Despite the severity of Ben’s condition he gets up everyday and try’s even on the tough days. Ben has a young son & so much to live for. His strength and courage amazing everyone who knows him. Unfortunately this weekend due to the progression of bens illness and worsen in mobility Ben had a fall while on holiday celebrating his late mums remembrance. Ben was taken to hospital, Although thankfully he is okay and recovering. he has badly damaged his teeth as shown in photos. Bens appearance is only control over his body he now has left. His confidence was already compromised with the onset of Illness in teen years. This has devastated Ben & left him feeling really low. We as a family are hoping to raise the money to have Bens teeth fixed privately as he’s been through enough. Any help would be greatly appreciated from the bottom of our hearts.

update. Ben is now home from his holiday & has been for both a private dental consultation & one via the nhs he was advised there might be trauma to teeth & he needs to go down the avenue on nhs dental care to better heath health and then look towards private care to improve appearance of teeth at a late date. Ben used funds raised to cover consultation but for now he is going to close go fund me as we are unsure when heath health with improve enough for cosmetic intervention.
