Help Bella and Trent Adopt a Baby!

Hello, my name is Robin Hayward. I am Bella Hayward-Mullett’s mum. I want to tell you a love story. Bella and Trent met and fell deeply in love at Toccoa Falls College in Georgia. I remember getting texts from Bella in the middle of the night that said she didn’t know what was going on but that this tall handsome young man from Florida was very special. “No… really special, and YES he is a Christian. You are going to love him mom I just know it!” She wasn't lying. I love Trent as I would my own son. They both knew within a very short time that they were meant to be together! As any couple does, they dreamed, talked and made plans about the day in the future when they would have kids and grow their family. They just couldn’t imagine not being able to do this on their own. I have been with them while at the infertility specialists and watched as my daughter has had the most painful gut wrenching tests. I’ve watched joy drain from their faces as they registered the bad news from doctors. This story could end here, but it doesn’t. Something very important that our family has is faith in God. We depend on our faith to see us through difficult times and we believe that God wants what is best for us and that his plans are the best plans!

Time passes and Bella and Trent have been dealing with infertility for almost 5 years now. I think with infertility you keep hoping there will be new technology to help you become a family and when your hopes keep getting knocked down that is when you have to pivot! One thing about Bella and Trent is that they have always had adoption on their minds; this isn't something new! Bella and Trent know without a shadow of a doubt that there is a baby or babies out there for them to love, maybe this child is not even born yet but those little lives will be welcomed with so much love.

No one goes from hoping to give birth naturally to choosing to adopt a baby in a smooth no bumps no bruises transition. I have heard Bella say that you need time to grieve that notion or dream and then thank God, move on to this wonderful journey!

Bella and Trent are surrounded by both families who love them and support their decision to adopt. They also have strong friends and a church full of extended family that really are there for them to offer love, support and guidance.

Now why do they need a Go Fund Me?

Who are we kidding… Adopting is expensive! Before Bella and Trent can begin they need a “HOME STUDY” which is $3000. This is what will get the train moving! Both Bella and Trent have full time jobs. They are very responsible adults but unlike health insurance to give birth there is no assistance to adopt. We have created a funding chart below. Bella and Trent hope to have raised $10,000 by this Christmas and the rest of the fees throughout the year so that hopefully they will be able to become parents by Christmas time next year.

$2,000 - Case Management Fee

$4,500 - Three Adoption Agency Fees (MA, TX, FL)

*$39,000 - Ma Adoption Placement Fees

**$39,000-$59,000 + $1,800 Fee to MA - TX and FL fees
