The Eaton fire has been a devastating disaster for our Altadena community. My in-laws, Becky and Steve Macko, are one of the many families who have lost their home to this fire. With only 30 minutes to evacuate their home, they made it out safely with their two dogs and their eldest, Drew, and just a few clothing items. All of their memories, family heirlooms, and everything they own were burned within an hour of evacuating their Altadena home. They are the most caring and loving couple I know, and truly, any donation would help them as they recover and purchase necessities as they live in a hotel.
