Hi my name is Les, I founded Basildon Active Kids in the summer of 2025 a free of charge fitness class for children aged 3-15 with a goal to help a handful of local children get fit, gain confidence and break down social boundaries while coming away from the comforts of screen time.

Well since then the movement has gained significant unexpected growth, we now have over 60 children on our books and it is growing every day.

At this moment in time due to financial constraints of venue hire and equipment purchasing, I am limited to only 1 hour a week to work with the kids.

Sadly our venue only holds around 30 children so unfortunately I am having to turn away handfuls of kids every week which I am

so gutted to do.

What will your donation go towards:

1, Extra hours in our venue or a bigger venue.

2, Better equipment suitable for all ages.

3, Extra days for the children who are desperate to attend but cannot make our Monday session.

4. Ongoing free of charge fitness training for all, year round.

5. Hire of coaching staff to support the amazing growth we are witnessing.

I am not in this to make any money, in fact I am paying for this out of my own pocket at the minute with some help.

Help Basildon Active Kids, support all of our children, this movement has started locally but I believe there is a real want and need for it and this could grow so big that we could branch out all over Essex and who knows the whole of the UK
