Hi everyone!!
When traveling in Tunisia, my friend and I met Bandjougou, a bright young man from Guinea with a heartbreaking story.
A few years ago, Bandjougou was forced to flee his hometown after openly expressing his homosexuality. He crossed several countries and ended up in Tunisia. The country's government stripped many of Sub-Saharan Africans basic rights, including the right to work. And on top of this, faces daily dangers because of his sexuality.
To continue his asylum case, he recently had to return to Guinea to obtain a passport — a crucial step for his journey. But now, he urgently needs to get back to Tunisia, where his lawyer and asylum procedure are based.
My friend and I have been supporting him as much as we can, but the cost of a flight back to Tunisia is beyond what we can provide alone. This is where we are asking for your help.
We are fundraising for his flight, and his basic needs.
Any contribution - even if it's just a couple of euros - would be beneficial to Bandjougou. If donating is not an option, sharing on social media is very helpful too :)
Thank you so much for your support,
Take care,
Bandjougou and Amélie :)
