My name is Zydia Rahman and I am creating this on behalf of my sister. She wrote a message stating… “My name is Zamira Rahman I was born pre - term but for the most part healthy. I just couldnt wait. I have given vaginal birth to 3 beautiful children name Zoe ,Zaiden, and Zalo. I call us the u stoppable Z’s. Coming up I had minor set backs from broken arms and legs due to snow boarding and other extra curricular activities, but I persevered. My daughter Zoe was born not able to pass stooleasily from birth. I took her to every doctor GI , incorporated suplimemtal fiber to help her pass her stool without feeling too uncomfortable. Zoe has persevered. My som Zaiden was born two weeks early with his emblicical cord tied into w complete knot and wrapped around his head. I breast feed him and changed my diet for 3 years to secure he would not have any health issues in the future. Zaiden has persevered. My son Zalo born 10/09/2021 full term , exclusively breastfed healthy baby. Well atleast so I thought has now at the age of just 6 months has been diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. The percentage of children with this rare condition is 1% . Of that 1% my sweet angel baby has shown so much strength in the last 24 hours fighting for his life. The doctors said any adult could not have survived and lived through this moment. When I rushed into the emergency because I thought he was having trouble breathing; my sweet baby was close death. My baby was in diabetes ketoacidosis. His body was highly acidic and sugar 983. With the Grace of God he is here he is breathing but he will now for the rest of his life will require insulin. I am asking for help as a mother, sister , friend to help Zalo like I have like zoe had like Zaiden had to PERSEVERE. It took a team to save him last night and I need a village to carry him through his life. I am with no shame no guilt asking for help. This is by far the hardest thing for me to do since I never use my experiences in life as excuses for help in my situation, but this time I need it not just for me but for my sweet angel baby Zalo. For all no matter mom,dad, sister ,aunt,cousin health is wealth. Just because he is the 1% does not mean he will be the only taking care of ourselves helps the human race to preservere and be UNSTOPPABLE ! Zalo”
