Hi everyone,
My name is Alesia Martin, not many people know, however Conner and I were expecting our second son who was due September 14, 2025. Due to some sudden health issues on my behalf our sweet baby boy Jasper had to come way earlier than expected. He stopped moving with the cord wrapped around his neck twice at 33 weeks gestation. During the emergency C-section Jasper was not breathing for 10-minutes & they had to intubate him. They, then had an ambulance transport him to McLeod NICU in Florence, where he is continuing to receive around the clock care. After giving birth, Conner, Braxtynn, and I were only able to see him for 5 minutes before he was taken from us. We have been told by the NICU that Jasper will not be able to come home for at least a month where he has to reach certain milestones before being discharged. Doing everything I could to get healthy, just to go see our sweet boy the moment I was discharged from the hospital. Braxtynn, his big brother, is struggling so much with the fact that has not been able to see him or hold him and it's heartbreaking to us. With all this going on, Conner, who is the sole income provider for our family, has been unable to be at work and it has put so much stress on him. This is not stress he should have to endure while worrying about our new little boy!
If you would be willing to help we would greatly appreciate anything as it would help with medical expenses, transportation back and forth to McLeod NICU, and additional expenses while we navigate through this difficult time. Every contribution, big or small, makes a real impact!
If you can't donate right now, sharing this fundraiser is also incredibly helpful.
Thank you,
Conner, Alesia, Braxtynn & Jasper Koch
