Baby Gwenevere passed onto heaven today surrounded by loving family while safely in her mother’s loving arms. This fundraiser is now to help with funeral expenses but hopefully there will be a extra left over to cover other expenses such as marriage and grief counseling and it is my hope there will be enough to send her parents a much needed vacation. Gwenevere had a small insurance policy that should cover most of the funeral. It is my hope, there will be enough raised to cover expenses and the insurance policy can be Gwenevere’s gift to her parents.

NOTE: This Go Fund me had already raised $4500 for prior expenses the Bush family had during Gwenevere’s last few hospitalizations. If you are wondering how much has been raised for the funeral and final expenses, subtract $ 4500 from the total amount raised.

—- Below is Gwenevere’s story & the events as they unfolded leading up to her passing ——

Baby Gwenevere has spent the last few months in and out of the pediatric intensive care unit at Dornbecker Children’s Hospital

The doctors have been monitoring her heart since birth because she has several heart defects due to Noonan Syndrome. She is being treated for sever pulmonary hypertension, there is no cure but can be managed with medication. Gwenevere & her parents have many long hospital stays before them. She is a fighter.

Her mother quit her job, Gwenevere‘s care is a full time job. Her father, is in apprentice program & has no sick days. Days he takes off work are unpaid.

Additionally if he doesn’t work a certain number of days he has to pay the premium for their insurance. There are a host of additional expenses this situation is creating adding to an already stressful situation.
