Hello world,

My name is Elijah Diaz. I was born on August 8th 2024. I was born at 28 weeks and weighed 1lb and 5oz with only a 50% chance to survive. I have been in the NICU for almost 5 months now and not sure when I'll get to home. My moms pregnancy was very difficult, I caused her body several health problems, among them was her high blood pressure, she developed diabetes while pregnant, and severe preeclampsia. She was diagnosed with Marginal Cord Insertion, which restricted my growth and effected my blood flow. She spent weeks in he hospital while they monitored me until ultimately the Dr`s decided it was safer for me in the outside world. Through all this she never stopped working until her company let her go. The circumstances have brought financial difficulties to my parents and my 7 siblings. My parents have sacrificed so much over these last few months, I just want to be able to help them. Please help me make life a little easier for them and my siblings. My medical expenses, house mortgage, and bills are all starting to pile up. Anything you can do is appreciated, even sharing this would really help.
