I am Hossam, and this is my son Ahmed

I am writing this with a heavy heart. My son Ahmed is only 2 years old, but he has spent his entire life in pain. Born with a lack of oxygen, he was diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy. It breaks my heart to watch him try to take his first steps, only to lose his balance and fall immediately. His gait is unsteady, and on his worst days, his small legs cannot carry him at all

Ahmed’s life is a constant battle. He suffers from Epilepsy and chronic Asthma, made worse by the dust and conditions of our tent. But the most terrifying struggle is with his kidneys. Due to chronic infections, he often goes 32 hours without being able to urinate. I have to rush him to the hospital for emergency IV fluids just to keep him alive. The doctors had to stop his strong antibiotics because they were damaging his kidneys.

Living in a tent, we struggle to provide the basics. Ahmed urgently needs specialized therapeutic milk and healthy food to keep his body strong enough to fight. These essentials, along with his daily medications, have become incredibly expensive and hard to find. Without them, my son’s life is in constant, direct danger

Ahmed's cerebral palsy has severely affected the nerves in his legs, making movement painful and difficult. To cope with this, I must take him to the hospital at least once a week for specialized treatment using medical devices. In addition, he needs to see a doctor at our tent twice a week for extra physiotherapy sessions. Without your support and donations, I simply cannot afford to bring the doctor to the tent. Without this ongoing care, Ahmed's nerve and muscle condition will deteriorate, and he will lose all mobility.

We have done everything possible. Ahmed’s medical reports and the "Form No. 1" for urgent evacuation are ready. However, we have seen no progress. The closure of the border crossing has severely limited our chances of getting him the life-saving treatment he needs abroad. My son is trapped, and until the way opens, I must do everything to keep him stable and safe.
