What’s up yall! My name is Ayleen. I’m a first-generation Dominican woman, born and raised in Paterson, New Jersey a redlined, low-income, BIPOC community full of first-gen immigrants, where survival often comes before healing. Paterson is filled with love and resilence but also with generational trauma: poverty, incarceration, gang violence, deportation, and systemic neglect. My family has lived through it all. I grew up without examples of healed ancestors, only survival. That weight shaped me. And it also inspired me to break the cycle. For the past 8+ years, I’ve walked the path of a healer, becoming a Crystal Reiki Master, trance medium, ceremonial artist, and therapist in training. I help BIPOC clients reclaim ancestral wisdom, heal spiritual wounds, and reconnect to the Earth and Divine. But this work is heavy, and it’s not meant to be carried alone. When I moved to Boulder, CO, I realized how deeply burnt out I was. Healers from the hood are not meant to endlessly pour from an empty cup. Rest, abundance, and community support are part of the healing too. That’s why I’m creating a sustainable path forward, with your help

The Vision: Collective Healing for the Hood This fundraiser is now a Liberation Fund — a long-term commitment to healing the hoods. Together, we are building: • A Healing School in Paterson — a sanctuary for spiritual healing, ceremony, and mental health services in my hometown. • Yearly Spiritual Festivals in low-income BIPOC areas — with cacao ceremonies, live performances, healing workshops, and paid BIPOC facilitators. • Free & Low-Cost Sessions — for clients in Paterson, Passaic, and other impacted areas who need access to healing but can’t afford it. • Support for BIPOC Healers — because this work is sacred and must be sustained without martyrdom. White allies: this is your invitation to support reparative healing work. Your donations will fund ceremonies, pay BIPOC artists and healers, and make healing accessible to those who’ve been historically excluded from wellness spaces

Why This Matters Now Under the threat of another Trump administration, BIPOC, queer, and immigrant communities are once again under attack. We don’t have time to wait. We must organize, heal, and build our own sacred spaces — now. When I return to Paterson, people are thirsty for healing. I see it in their eyes — the hunger for something we once had before colonization, before ICE raids, before our sacred wisdom was stolen. It’s time to return to that wisdom. To heal, together. ⸻
How You Can Help Your donation will support: •
The creation of a Healing School in Paterson •
Yearly spiritual healing festivals & cacao ceremonies •
‍♀️ Free and sliding-scale sessions for BIPOC in need •
Fair pay for BIPOC artists, healers, and speakers •
A sustainable life path for myself and other spiritual leaders

This isn’t just about me — it’s about collective healing. The hood cannot heal if our healers are burnt out. Let’s build something sacred, rooted, and revolutionary. Please donate what you can, share this with your people, and help us heal the hoods. Thank you❤️
