Help Ayla and Her Sisters – A Childhood Worth Living.

My name is Ruba Khamis Ali Al-Haddad, a Palestinian woman from Gaza City, in my early thirties. I am a wife and a mother of three beautiful daughters. I suffer from asthma and have lived through five devastating wars, the worst of which was in 2023—it changed our lives forever.

During this war, my youngest daughter, Ayla, was born under heartbreaking circumstances. Unlike her sisters, she has never known a normal childhood. She never held a doll or tasted sweets. From the moment she was born, she only knew the sound of bombs, the cold of displacement, and the emptiness of destroyed homes.

Before the war, we had a loving home in northern Gaza, full of warmth and peace. But it was reduced to rubble. We fled from city to city—from Gaza to Khan Younis, then Rafah, then Deir al-Balah—living in a tent for nearly a year. There was no clean water, no electricity, no food, no schools, no internet, and none of the basics of life. Winter brought freezing cold, and summer brought unbearable heat.

After a short ceasefire, we walked back to Gaza on foot, hoping to start again in a small apartment we had slowly built. My husband and I worked hard to furnish it. But just three days later, we were ordered to evacuate again. We moved into a cramped home shared with two other families—fifteen people in a space meant for five. A few months later, our apartment was bombed and destroyed.

We have now lost everything—our home, my husband’s job, and even the hope of rebuilding.

I am now raising this fundraiser for myself and my daughters, to help us survive this incredibly difficult time. Your support will go directly toward:

- Rent to secure a small shelter
- Basic food: rice, pasta, lentils, cooking oil, and baby formula
- Water, gas, and electricity
- Diapers, baby wipes, and cleaning supplies
- Seasonal clothing for the children
- Medicine and basic health care
- School supplies and internet access to help my daughters continue their education

How funds will be transferred:
I have arranged for a trusted person outside Palestine to receive the donations and help us access the support we need, as direct transfers to Palestine are currently not possible.
I will keep posting updates and photos to remain transparent and show exactly how your support is used.

Every small donation means the world to us. Even if you cannot donate, sharing this link or sending kind words of support can help us hold on a little longer.

I write this story with all my heart, hoping for mercy, kindness, and solidarity from those who can make a difference.

May God bless you and reward you for your compassion. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. ♥️
