Hi, my name is Emma and I’m raising funds for Aya and her family to help them start their lives over again after so many terrible losses.

My name is Aya. I’m 20 years old, and I’m from the G strip.

Since the difficulties began, life has completely changed. We lost everything—our home, our safety, and even our sense of the future.

Our house was destroyed. My father, who used to work as a tailor and owned a small sewing workshop, lost his only source of income in a matter of seconds. Now, we are a family of eight with no shelter, no income, and no stability.

Among us is my aunt, who lives with a disability and needs constant care. My mother suffers from chronic diabetes and requires regular medication and treatment—which we can no longer afford.

We now rent a small apartment, but we struggle to pay the rent. Sometimes, we don’t even have enough for basic food or medicine.

I was a university student, working hard to graduate and build a better future. But the difficult situation we are facing interrupted everything. My dream of finishing my education is now on hold. I want to go back. I want to graduate. I want to help my family.
