I am Awad from the Gaza Strip I used to live in the village of Khuza'a in the southern Gaza Strip and 6 months ago I moved with my family to Rafah and now I live in tents there, I lost my house in this war and it consists of 3 floors, it has taken me all my life to build it

I am the father of an only child named Ghina who dreamed of a happy life before this war came that took her dreams away and only now she dreams of survival

I ask you to look at me with mercy and help me to buy the necessities of life such as food and drink because after 6 months of war I lost all my money and now I am completely bankrupt

If I succeed in getting the goal, I will also consider evacuating my family out of the Gaza Strip because it has become unbearable, my child only sleeps for a few hours because of fear, panic and the high temperature in the tents. Finally, thank you in advance to everyone who will help or participate in the campaign for me, I am grateful to all of you for giving me a reason to live and making me believe that there are good people living with us in this world.

We have been communicating via telegram and I will be updating the fundraiser with updates from Awad as we go. I’m located in Connecticut, US, so the funds will first come into my bank account due to GFM country restrictions, and will then be transferred to Awad via PayPal for small balances or via bank transfer for larger balances.
