After a tragic loss of both our parents, my five siblings and I have been left without a home or stability. We’re raising funds to rebuild our lives and buy a safe place where we can stay together. Every donation helps us move toward healing and hope. Hi, my name is Avram Mateas. My brothers and sisters and I are going through something no child should ever have to face. We lost both of our parents in a tragedy that changed our lives forever. Our father took our mother’s life, and then took his own life. Shortly after, the bank took our home. Overnight, everything we knew our parents, our home, our sense of safety was gone.There are six of us, and all we want now is to stay together and have a stable place to live where we can heal and rebuild. We’re doing our best to stay strong for one another, but starting over completely from nothing is incredibly hard.Our goal is to raise $350,000 to buy a modest, safe home that will keep us together and give us a chance to build a future.
