Hello, my name is Eleora Goodbread.
I’m creating this fundraiser for my best friend, Aviva.
On April 21st, her family’s farm—Johnson’s Family Farm—lost their largest greenhouse in a fire. It destroyed most of their crops for the summer along with essential equipment. This has put a huge financial strain on her family, and there is already a GoFundMe set up to help them rebuild. This fundraiser is different. This is meant to help support Aviva specifically.
Aviva just turned 18 and is currently in college, driving over an hour each way four days a week. She spends about $100 a week on gas alone just to get to school, and the semester ends May 15th, leaving her with about $400 in gas costs just to finish.
She works for her parents when she can, but right now there’s very little work available because of the damage. Her family had been helping her with expenses like gas, food, and basic bills, but they are no longer able to support her financially.
She still has responsibilities like her phone bill, car insurance, and daily expenses. And as of right now, she has no steady income to cover them.
I’m starting this GoFundMe to take some of that pressure off of her so she can focus on finishing school without added stress. Even small donations would make a huge difference. If you’re able to help, thank you so much. And if not, sharing this means just as much.
