It is with a heavy heart that the family of little Avery Harris announces that she suffered a serious and sudden medical emergency on Saturday, June 21, 2025, and is currently on a ventilator in a hospital near Miami.

Just 15 months old, little Avery was in Florida with her parents and siblings visiting family when this medical incident occurred.

Her parents, Mariah and Phil, had plans to return to Indiana with Avery and their three other children - Aubree, Karter, and Tauryn - this week, but due to the situation, they are having to stay near the hospital as they rotate round-the-clock visitation with their daughter, who is in the ICU.

Prayers are the first requests; however, if there is ANY amount of support you can give to the family during this time, it will be appreciated as unexpected costs for food and accommodations are quickly mounting.

The hope for a miracle for little Avery is what we are believing God for right now. Some churches and individuals are fasting, praying, and consecrating on her behalf; ALL are invited to join in this plea toward Heaven.

This is simply a medical emergency; for now, that is all that can be released as far as Avery’s medical care.

The family is also asking that no one contact Phil or Mariah at this time as they have barely slept since Saturday and are spending all their energy bedside with Avery Cakes.
