Help Avante's Family Find Stability After Loss

Hi, my name is Daja, and I’m reaching out with a heavy heart after a life-altering tragedy. My children’s father was brutally and unexpectedly murdered, leaving our family shattered and unprepared for the emotional and financial aftermath.

We are still in shock, trying to process the loss of someone who was not only a father, but a huge part of our lives. In the midst of this heartbreak, I’ve inherited his financial obligations and been forced to make sudden, difficult decisions for the sake of our children.

To give our family some stability, I’ve had to relocate back to the home we once shared—our children’s familiar and safe space—so they can be closer to friends, family, and memories of their dad. While this move was necessary, it has brought urgent expenses with it.

I’m currently trying to cover mortgage payments and essential bills totaling $2,500 just for this month. These are immediate needs while I sort through his assets and manage legal responsibilities on top of caring for our grieving children.
