Hi — I am a friend starting this GoFundMe on behalf of Kat and Autumn Grace.

Autumn Grace is a joyful, bubbly, warm-hearted, friendly, animal-loving two-year-old girl.

Autumn’s mom, Kat, is the primary caregiver, as well as a college student and birth doula in training.

The pair has recently been displaced the week of 04/09/26, one week before Autumn’s first MRI. The pair have attended many evaluations this year to figure out diagnosis and treatment for what appeared to be a neuromuscular weakness on the right side of Autumn’s body, only to find out in the MRI on 04/17 that there is in fact a massive tumor behind her eyes, where the optic nerves cross. Obviously, this unexpected news has blindsided Kat and their extended friends and family in every possible way, and our concern for Autumn cannot be overstated. While it feels deeply uncomfortable to ask for help in this time, they have also struggled with housing largely in silence for 6 months. Autumn deserves better. Not having stable housing is the biggest barrier affecting the course of her treatment as continuity of care is so important, and finding stable housing is essential to Autumn’s well-being.
