HELP AUSTRALIAN U16’S GET TO THE 2025 BORNEO CUP, MALAYSIA
Help a bunch of Australian Under 16s from many diverse backgrounds, including social disadvantage, families living with disability and other challenges compete with the rest of the world at the FIFA endorsed international 2025 Malaysian Borneo Cup tournament in October 2025.
The Australian Academy of Football (AAF) is helping 16 players make it to the Borneo Cup.
The tour is being facilitated and The Tour program to Borneo is partially subsidised through continued corporate and community support by world renowned Australian Academy of Football (Sydney) who has been developing world class footballers since 1995.
By supporting our own Aussie Under 16s you are assisting in reducing the individual fees and costs for players and their families. Some of our player families are from different backgrounds, including socially disadvantaged , players in families living with a disability - all fundraising efforts brings our players one step closer to attend the Borneo Cup event in October 2025.
Your help in partnership with the Australian Academy of Football (AAF) will assist in reducing the costs for these young talented Under 16 football (soccer) players and their families to realise their dream to represent their country and to play at a FIFA-endorsed international tournament, the Borneo Cup in Malaysia which is hosted by expat and former Socceroo, Scott Ollerenshaw.
Every dollar will help in reducing the costs associated with each player's dream to be at the Borneo Cup 2025!
The Australian Academy of Football Story
ABOUT THE AAF (Australian Academy of Football)
At AAF, we have 30-years experience developing the football skills of children aged between 8-and 14-years of age. Taking place on a full-sized, synthetic pitch at Cooke Park in Belfield/Strathfield, our training sessions run in blocks of 10-weeks.
Our experienced and passionate coaches- Bill Galanis, Kosta Galanis and Johnny Di Biase – teach players of all skill levels how to control, pass and shoot the ball with both feet.
In particular, we pride ourselves on the time that we invest in perfecting our players’ shooting skills through repetition and correction, encouraging them to use the inside in-step and in-step techniques with both feet.
AAF TRIPLE COMMITMENT
At AAF, we provide parents with peace of mind. Our academy’s training sessions are created with the intention for players to have fun, connect with the sport and create memories with like-minded sportspeople.
Our football philosophy and training methodology is conducted within a structured learning environment where children can maximise their learning and skills at an early stage. We specialise in training players aged between 8-14 years old. These are the most crucial development years as players mature into young athletes.
We are firm believers that every parent and player has the right to belong to the AAF family. From BBQs and training sessions to football tournaments and travelling overseas, our parents & players form formidable relationships that last a lifetime.
AAF IN THE COMMUNITY
The AAF supports and subsidises a number of community programs to help families and players to reach their full potential, including support for socially disadvantaged, disability and all abilities as well as community scholarship players.
The AAF are continually investing in players as part of their community charter.
