Meet Auraleah Sol, a vibrant 11-year-old from the mountains of Western North Carolina.

Auraleah is embarking on her middle school journey, poised to grow into a confident young woman. Like many of us, she deserves the guidance and support to navigate this transformative time gracefully.

This summer, Auraleah has the opportunity to attend Growing Goddess, a Nature-based Rites of Passage Camp designed to honor and empower girls transitioning into womanhood. This unique program emphasizes intergenerational mentorship, sisterhood, creativity, and a deep connection with the Earth—key ingredients for a resilient and fulfilling life.

Tended by a team of dedicated Village Aunties, Grandmothers, Mentors, and Guides, Growing Goddess offers an unparalleled level of support and expertise in guiding young women through this important milestone.

Due to unforeseen financial challenges, including a recent loss of income, covering the camp's $800 cost has become a significant hurdle for me at this time. Being a facilitator of transformational growth work for adults, I have come to deeply understand how the absence of supportive initiations and rites of passage creates a deficit for so many and for our culture at large. I do believe it takes a village to turn this trend around, so thanks for considering.
