My name is Kattee and I am creating this account for my 2 younger cousins who have recently lost their mom, my aunt Jackie, or lovingly referred to as “Aunt Gaggy.” After an accident, she was left paralyzed and in need of constant care. At the time of the accident, she was taking care of our grandmother, 6 children that were not hers but family, and 2 young sons. Her sons were left to quickly find their way in life and be there for their mother.

Weeks ago, my Aunt Jackie decided she was tired—tired of being in and out of hospitals, tired of being poked and uncomfortable—so she made a choice to be moved to hospice. She leaves behind a beautiful granddaughter that will miss her granny very much, 2 sons, a loving daughter-in-law, 2 sisters who love her dearly, 3 nephews, 3 nieces (myself included), and many great-nieces and nephews.

At 53 years young, Jackie had little plans for this point, which will leave my cousins with not only hard choices to make, young men alone without their mom, but the financial aspect as well.

My goal for this GoFundMe is to help show my cousins that they are not alone now that their mom has passed, but they have people in all places that truly love them and are there for them in this time.
