My girlfriend Ryley and I (August) are trans youths currently in the process of moving out for the second time in a couple months; while we were originally moving from the Bay Area into a separate unit on my mom's property in AZ (seeking to recuperate our material standing, finish job training, and regain financial independence) in May, she unfortunately regressed into a neurotic spiral the likes of which no one has seen in years and kicked us out less than a week after moving in (in a manner that everybody other than her or her husband seem to have found utterly revolting both in general and in specific conduct).
As such, we now have had adjust plans in the direction of Minnesota—we have a large number of contacts & trusted friends in the region, and the difference in cost of living + job market viability is fairly immense. Unfortunately, due to having no present job in the area, we'll likely have to endure a period of homelessness (made possible only by the fact that we will be arriving in the summer) until one/both of us can find an entry-level position that enables us to get a unit in (probably) St. Cloud. Hopefully, this state of affairs shouldn't last more than a few months at most.
To reach that point, we would like to ask for any help anyone can spare in assisting us with primarily moving costs/transportation (e.g. 1.7k miles of fuel, cost of renting a small trailer, cost of installing a hitch on the vehicle), and a seed of initial bare-minimum day-to-day living expenses for once we've finished moving. Once we're on our feet in this regard, our ability to sustain ourselves should hopefully not take long to establish.
Thank you!
