My name is Jason Ward. Why am I starting a GoFundMe?? Well, it’s a cool story that dates back to 2007. Mutual friends introduced me to this young woman named Aubrey. Instantly, we made quite the sarcastic duo. We had a lot of fun, took many risks, and were lucky to survive some of the antics. We raised 2 cheerfully wonderful, non-sarcastic kiddos together, and we even tried marriage together for nearly 25 months. Through it all, we somehow survived, and our friendship survived! We’ve become better friends over the past few years, and Aubrey introduced me to Colorado.

So, August of 2024, Aubrey was diagnosed with breast cancer. Fortunately, Aubrey is responding well to treatment, and everyone is grateful and hopeful for her speedy recovery. In the meantime, Aubrey is unable to work, and bills continue to stack.

I’m starting this GoFundMe for Aubrey Burns, and all proceeds will go to her as a bit of financial relief. Any donation amount will surely be appreciated.
