Your donations will go towards the following goods and services:
- Free essential supplies for at-risk people doing it really tough (loo paper, soap, feminine hygiene products, bread, milk etc.)
- Shopping float so that volunteers can pre-purchase items and the at-risk community don't need to hand over money or atm cards - they direct deposit the cost of their shopping once they receive their goods and receipts.
- Gloves and ID badges for volunteers
- Fuel for volunteers
- Website running costs (url and subscription fees, plugin subs etc.)
- Printing costs - flyers to leave at grocery stores and pharmacies
- Advertising - paid social media ad/s if financially possible
We need to hit the ground running now, so these funds are super urgent.
Your support means everything to us. It's going to be really hard to get this up and running effectively in the short time we have without some financial support from all the generous people out there.
I know it's a financially tough time for many people. Having lost some clients myself recently, I do genuinely understand how tight things are. However, even $5 means we can get enough fuel to do shopping for 2 at-risk people.
I, the other volunteers, and the at-risk clients we service, would be so grateful for any amount you can donate.
Stay safe, be supportive of friends and strangers, and keep your heart open to love in these challenging and uncertain times!
Much love,
Annika xx
