Help At-Risk Elders and Oakland Residents

We're raising funds for OaklandAtRisk  so we can help elders and at-risk residents during this ongoing pandemic.

Your donation will be used to fund urgent needs that are otherwise not in the purview of local, state, or federal agencies and needs that may extend beyond the pandemic. The crisis has revealed many holes in that safety net for elder, low-income and disabled residents. Funds will be used for groceries, prepared meal delivery,  utility bills, adult diapers, safe transportation, and materials not provided by the county food bank, including laundry, cleaning, sanitation, and paper products. As of early December, we've helped dozens of COVID-positive, quarantining low-income residents and their children through delivery of food bank boxes and the purchase of items not always available at food pantries: diapers, wipes, formula, cleaning products, PPE, laundry detergent, soap, toilet paper and paper products, and additional fresh produce and healthy snacks for young children.
