Hello, the family reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for help for someone who means everything to us Athenia Singletary.

Athenia has recently been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, and our world has been shaken to the core. She’s a wife, a daughter, sister, friend and a woman who raised 3 beautiful girls with strength, grace, and unconditional love. If you know her, you know she’s a fighter. But this is a fight no one should have to face alone.

The diagnosis came suddenly, and treatment began quickly. Doctors have recommended aggressive chemotherapy and ongoing medical care, which has already begun taking a toll physically, emotionally, and financially. Even with insurance it doesn’t cover everything. The costs are overwhelming: hospital bills, lab work, medications, scans, travel, and care at home. On top of that, she’s had to stop working, which has added more financial pressure on our family.

What my mom needs right now is time to heal not the constant worry of how she’s going to afford it all.
