Help Asylum Seekers in Brownsville, Texas

In Brownsville, Texas - just across the US/Mexico border from the city of Matamoros - volunteers work tirelessly to feed, clothe, counsel and deliver critical humanitarian aid to asylum seekers from all over the world.

On the US side of the border, Good Neighbor Settlement House offers a refugee respite program that provides shelter and services to asylum seekers released from ICE or Border Patrol custody - free to pursue their asylum cases from within the United States.

On the Mexico side of the border, GNSH in partnership with Team Brownsville volunteers delivers food, clothing, first aid, hygiene and other essential aid to asylum seekers waiting in line to legally cross the border and request asylum.
