Hi, my name is Amy. On July 8th 2024, my fiancé Nate passed away suddenly from a diabetic seizure in front both our 5yo son, (Ashton), and I. Nate's passing has left us heartbroken and struggling. 3 months later, in October 2024, Ashton nearly lost his life when his appendix ruptured. He required surgery, and a two week stay at the Barbara Bush children's hospital

We had already faced eviction, homelessness, and financial hardship before his passing. I’ve been left with the debt of his truck loan (We haven't had the truck in 2 years now), while caring for our son alone, and homeschooling him. Ashton has been going to therapy to process both his father's death and behaviors associated with that. I don't feel it's in his best interest to start public school at this time.

Right now, we are staying in a room generously offered by my ex-husband, but we need help to move forward. I’m asking for support to pay off the truck debt, to get a reliable vehicle so I can bring Ashton to his appointments, and begin rebuilding stability for our future.
