Less than a month ago we had a scare of a lifetime. My sister Ashley, who is only 41 had a heart attack. She has had heart issues most of her life; going to a cardiologist once a year. She was told she would need open heart surgery in her 40's. Well the time has come sooner than expected. The cardiologist told her she will need heart surgery very soon. She is going to need a valve replacement. So they will be cracking her chest. Recovery is going to be a long process.
Today Ashley is back in the ER with chest pain, shortness of breath, sweaty, left arm pain and numbness. Another heart attack. She will be taking an ambulance to Milwaukee to the best heart surgeon. They will start by doing a catheter to her heart. Find out what they are working with and then open heart surgery. The hospital stay will be a week.
With Ashley not being able to work, and not having an income; bills have began to fall behind. At home she is a single mom and has a 14 yr old and a 7 yr old that depend on her. She will not be able to return to work for awhile.
Any funds donated will be used to pay Ashley's rent, provide meals for the kids at home as well as when they visit, keep up on her car payment, gas to and from Milwaukee for her adult kids to bring the younger ones to visit.
Please take a moment to pray for my sister Ashley. For the Dr's and the team that will be working on her. For her family to remain strong for her. For calmness and peace.
I will keep you all updated as I am updated.
We all thank you for your thoughts and continued prayers
