Help Ashley Find a Stable Home for Her Family
$1,850 raised of $4K
School has started and they are still at the Motel. It is more of a struggle now with things going up and Ashley's hours being cut, its the same everwhere. But in this family's case it's different. If they cant stay at the Motel then the kids miss school due to staying out of district. Her youngest has asthma and where they are at now the environment causes the asthma to flare up bad enough that she ends up in the hospital. I am only trying to get 1st plus security and maybe a few incidentials they will need to get started. Everyone needs a forever home. I am trying to raise funding for Ashley, she is a hard working single mom who makes her kids her Number 1 priority. But for 2 years they have been living in a motel, with a rule that after 21 days they have to leave for the night with all their belongings in tow.
She & her 3 kids (7, 14 & 16) have been living in a Motel in Woonsocket for approximately 2 years. Imagine trying to build a stable future for your children when just surviving the day costs everything you have. As a single mother starting completely over from scratch, her primary focus has been keeping a roof over the heads of my three amazing kids . For months I pay out of pocket just to stay safe and off the streets. While we are incredibly grateful that we are sheltered, the staggering daily cost of the motel has trapped us in a heartbreaking cycle: every dollar she earns goes directly toward tonight’s stay, leaving absolutely nothing left to saving for a security deposit on a permanent home. Her children deserve a true place to call home—a stable environment where they can focus on school and just be kids. They are ready and eager to move into our forever home, but they need a helping hand to break out of this financial holding pattern. Your donations will go directly toward a security deposit, first month's rent, and basic essentials to help us finally start our fresh chapter. Any amount, or even sharing our story, means the world to our family. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. They have more to their story links below. The Valley Breeze (Woonsocket Edition).
