Everyone needs a forever home. I am trying to raise funding for Ashley, she is a hard working single mom who makes her kids her Number 1 priority. But for 2 years they have been living in a motel, with a rule that after 21 days they have to leave for the night with all their belongings in tow.
She & her 3 kids (7, 14 & 16) have been living in a Motel in Woonsocket for approximately 2 years. Imagine trying to build a stable future for your children when just surviving the day costs everything you have. As a single mother starting completely over from scratch, my primary focus has been keeping a roof over the heads of my three amazing kids . For months I pay out of pocket just to stay safe and off the streets. While we are incredibly grateful that we are sheltered, the staggering daily cost of the motel has trapped us in a heartbreaking cycle: every dollar I earn goes directly toward tonight’s stay, leaving absolutely nothing left to saving for a security deposit on a permanent home. My children deserve a true place to call home—a stable environment where they can focus on school and just be kids. We are ready and eager to move into our forever home, but we need a helping hand to break out of this financial holding pattern. Your donations will go directly toward a security deposit, first month's rent, and basic essentials to help us finally start our fresh chapter. Any amount, or even sharing our story, means the world to our family. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. We have more to our story in this week's edition of The Valley Breeze (Woonsocket Edition).
