Last night a local North Myrtle Beach family experienced something they never thought imaginable. Ashley, her husband Brett and their beautiful 2 year old daughter lost their home and everything they own in a devastating house fire cause by a lightning strike in North Myrtle Beach.
We are incredibly grateful they are safe, but now they are facing the overwhelming reality of starting over, from scratch. In a matter of moments the place they called home- along with their clothing, furniture, personal belongings and so many irreplaceable memories- were gone.
Brett is a police officer for the North Myrtle Beach Police Department who dedicates himself to serving and protecting his community. Ashley is a stay-at-home mom who just started her part-time job at 39th Ave Bar and grill. Brett and Ashley are the kind of people who would never hesitate to help someone else in need, and now we are asking for help from the community, friends, family and even strangers who can help surround them with that same love and support.
We are raising funds for Ashley, Brett, and baby Oaklee for clothes, furniture, toys for Oaklee, and all necessities to start their life over and eventually rebuilding a home life for their family.
No amount is too small. If you aren't able to donate, simply sharing this fundraiser would mean more to this family then you know.
We are beyond thankful that Ashley, Brett, and Oaklee are still here with us today. Everything else can be replaced, but this precious family cannot.
From the bottom of all our hearts, thank you for every share, donation, prayer, and every person who has reached out to support them during this incredibly difficult time.
With love, thank you.
