Hi, it’s Ashton — and I’m reaching out with a full heart and a hopeful spirit.
My sister, Ashlei, has been walking through one of the hardest seasons of her life. In February, she lost her father, Walter, due to serious health complications. His passing was devastating, and like so many of us, she has been doing her best to keep moving forward through the grief.
But the challenges didn’t stop there.
Recently, Ashlei also lost her aunt — another deep and painful loss for our family. And even while carrying her own grief, she stepped up to support our mom and the family. She helped coordinate the memorial arrangements, showing the same strength, compassion, and leadership she always brings when others are in need.
On top of everything, Ashlei has also lost both her car and her apartment due to overwhelming life expenses. Through all of this, she continues to raise her beautiful baby boy, Rohan, who was born with Down syndrome. Being a single mom is already incredibly difficult, but doing it without stable housing or transportation while caring for a child with special needs is a burden no one should ever have to face alone.
If you know Ashlei, you know she’s someone who always shows up for others. She gives without hesitation, without complaint, and without ever asking for anything in return. She is strong, caring, and selfless — and now, it’s our turn to show up for her.
I’m calling on our village to come together and help Ashlei rebuild. This fundraiser will go toward:
• Securing safe and stable housing
• Getting reliable transportation
• Supporting Rohan’s medical and developmental needs
• Giving Ashlei the space to breathe, heal, and move forward
Our goal is $5,000 — but truly, anything helps.
Whether it’s $5, $50, or even just sharing this message, your support means the world.
Let’s lift Ashlei the way she has lifted so many of us. Let’s remind her that she is not alone — and that it’s okay to receive help with the same grace and generosity she has always given.
Please share this with family and friends so we can reach as many hearts as possible.
And one last thing — please keep this a surprise. Ashlei doesn’t know we’re doing this. We want to give her this gift from a place of love, when the moment is right.
Thank you all so much for your kindness, compassion, and support.
