On February 25th, early in the morning, a fire broke out at my dear friend’s childhood home in Ashburnham. It displaced her 84-year-old Nana, her Auntie, and Uncle. My 9-year-old nephew cherished memories there, and it was all he had left of his late grandmother. Everything was destroyed in the blaze: clothes, precious family heirlooms, food, bedding, pictures, and so much more. They even lost their darling family cat.

Red Cross was generous in getting them into a hotel for two nights, but housing is uncertain moving forward. Any donations will go directly to temporary housing, food, and warm clothes during this brutal winter. If you could help in any way, it would mean more than words can adequately express.
