Help Aryn Get Back on the Road

This is Aryn,

Over the weekend, my car decided to die; the transmission went out. My only way to work or anywhere, I have a 2-year-old who lives with me full-time and 2 older kids who are here part of the time. I am an electrician apprentice, and I live paycheck to paycheck right now. I need to find a reliable way to get the baby to daycare and get myself to work so that I don't lose my job; that would be bitter icing on my life's cake right now. This is the most embarrassing thing I've probably ever had to do, but we need help BADLY. Before my car broke down, I had just put all my money into rent and bills. I have no family at all; my mom is gone, my grandparents are gone, and my dad lives in Asheville, NC, so he's not much help right now. I have been grateful and lucky enough that my coworker has been getting me to work this week, but I need to get a reliable vehicle ASAP so the rest of our lives do not fall apart. This is the most pride I've ever had to swallow, and I feel horrible, embarrassed, and guilty. Anything helps, and I know so many people are struggling along with us right now. This is my last-ditch effort to not lose everything and to keep my job. I am forever grateful for any help or kindness I may receive.
