Help Arvin Family Create New Memories after Palisades Fire

We are Monique Lafia and Chris Arvin, a family of four who moved from West Hollywood to Pacific Palisades to start a family and create community. We have lived in the Palisades since 2002. Sophia and Nicholas both attended Pali Elementary, Paul Revere, and Pali High. It is so tragic to see their public schools gone. We’ve been a standing part of Corpus Christi and suffered such a loss seeing the church where our kids were baptized burn. Pacific Palisades has been such an integral part of our lives and the community has always been there for us. Sophia is a Girl Scout gold and Nicholas Eagle Scout from Saint Matthews Troop 223. They later on attended UC Berkeley. This loss is beyond any pain we’ve ever felt in the tragedy. Anything you could do to assist us to try to restart and re-create family memories would be greatly appreciated. It’s hard to imagine: this was our last Christmas and Thanksgiving in our beautiful Home. We’re homeless now. With your generous donations hopefully we will be able to forge ahead with broken hearts and create new family memories.
