Dear Friends,

Imagine raising two toddlers completely on your own — working every day to provide for them, caring for them, and making sure they feel safe and loved - all while having only One working hand. This is the reality my dear friend Artem faces every single day. I created this page to support Artem and his two young sons, Adam (2 years and 8 months old) and David (1 year old), who are currently going through a very difficult time.

Although the legal process is still ongoing, the court granted Artem full custody of Adam and David. This meant he had to quickly find stable housing and create proper living conditions for his boys while continuing to work and care for them completely on his own. Many people in such circumstances might feel overwhelmed and walk away, but Artem never considered that option. His love for his sons is unwavering. He is determined to raise them with care, responsibility, and strong values, and to show them every day what true fatherly love looks like. Every day he works tirelessly to support them while also being fully present in their lives — feeding them, caring for them, playing with them, and making sure they grow up feeling loved, safe, and protected. Often he has to take kids to work with him for the lack of other choices.

Artem’s story is one of extraordinary resilience. Originally from Russia, Artem graduated from university and worked in the Aviation Industry before moving to Los Angeles in search of new opportunities and his physical challenge, he has never allowed it to limit him. Through determination and hard work, Artem built a career as a contractor and welder - professions that require strength, precision, and skill.

During a very difficult period in his personal life, Artem continued doing everything he could to support his sons, because he truly believes children benefit from having both parents in their lives. For a long time, he lived on his old boat or stayed with friends while still paying for the apartment where his children lived. He worked long hours and provided financial support far beyond what the court required, often leaving himself with almost nothing for his own basic needs.

I have personally witnessed Artem’s kindness and generosity. Despite his own struggles, he is always willing to help others. He has helped me repair things at home and is the kind of person who finds joy in helping people. He truly has an incredibly big heart.

This situation has taken a significant emotional and financial toll on Artem, but he continues moving forward for the sake of his children. His greatest wish is simply to provide Adam and David with a stable, loving home and a safe childhood.
