Help Arlo Harley battle cancer

Hi, my name is Fallon, and I’m fundraising for my special 6 year old nephew, Arlo Harley.

Recently, our family received news that no one ever expects to hear, Arlo, one of the sweetest and bravest little boys I know, has been diagnosed with cancer. A child, full of light and laughter, and hes facing a battle that no child should ever have to.

Arlo has battled since the day he was born being born prematurely and also being diagnosed with cerebral palsy from birth and autism a little later and now this huge battle ahead.

Arlo has been diagnosed with subtype 3 medulloblastoma which is a fast growing aggressive brain tumour.

For those who know Arlo, you know he is an identical twin to his brother Albert who both adore eachother and are inseparable and a loving brother to his older sister Lola.

Arlo has the toughest battle ahead of him hes already had a 2 week stay at alderhey back in February where he had an emergency operation to drain the fluid from his brain and then a further 10 hour surgery where the tumour was removed. Arlo has now just commenced the start of months of radiotherapy , where he will have daily sessions of a high dose radiotherapy monday to friday ( some weekends) at the christies Manchester where he has to be put to sleep daily for radiotherapy treatments , followed by months of chemotherapy at alderhey to hopefully finish but this all depends on how things go. It's overwhelming to even think about and unimaginable for a child to go through.

Arlos Story

Arlo was complaining of headache, being sick, loss of balance, he was very unwell for 2 weeks back and too to the countess of chester and finally dad convinced them to get a CT scan done and it was confirmed there was a mass found within hours of the scan Arlo was rushed to Alder hey with dangerous pressure around his brain. This all happened on his sisters birthday.

In February.

Arlos mum has also had to come out of work completely when Arlo was born with Arlos earlier battles and now his dad will need a lot of time off too to support them and unfortunately will only be receiving SSP. My brother Perry (Dad) and Georgia (Mum) struggle to ask for help so thats why i am asking for help for them to hopefully take away some financial strain. The money raised will go towards ,firstly the most important thing supplying Arlo with his favourite teddy toys (jellycats) which brings him the most joy and comfort, helping with petrol bills back and forth to manchester daily and then liverpool, general living as a family and making life as enjoyable as we can for Arlo as they try to navigate this journey that has been marked out for them.
