Arleth is the daughter of Araceli who is only 11 years old. She is a 6th grader going into 7th grade who attends Furlough Middle school in Terrell, TX. Araceli is a friend and coworker of mine. Their lives were turned upside down when her daughter started experiencing migraines, and her pediatrician blew them off as typical headaches until her mother noticed her eyes looked unusually pronounced and she started complaining of seeing dark. Her mother then took her to the pediatrician again, and they didn't want to do anything until she pleaded with them to do more testing. They finally agreed to send her to the emergency room where they did a brain scan and discovered she had a brain tumor, and it was causing fluid buildup in her brain (5/19/2025). Just a few days after discovering this tumor, Arleth underwent surgery to relieve the pressure on her brain and remove the tumor on (5/22/25). Her surgery went well, but the doctors were unable to remove the entire tumor and currently do not know exactly what caused it to grow and if it is cancerous. She has since been hospitalized at Childrens in Dallas and undergoing constant treatments to continue draining the fluid off her brain. She currently has a suction attached and is still in the hospital, likely needing another brain surgery to add another way to drain the fluid as the pressure is causing her headaches. Araceli also has another daughter, Michelle, who is 13 years old with special needs, and a 15-year-old son. While she is trying to spend as much time with her daughter Arleth in the hospital, Araceli hasn't been able to work, and she is a single mom. She needs help in any way as this has all come on so quickly. She needs as much help as she can with standard living expenses and paying someone to help take care of her special needs daughter while she is in the hospital with her youngest.

Arleth es la hija de Araceli, que solo tiene 11 años. Ella es una amiga y compañera de trabajo mía. Finalmente, accedieron a enviarla a la sala de emergencias donde le realizaron una tomografía cerebral y descubrieron que tenía un tumor cerebral, y estaba provocando acumulación de líquido en su cerebro (19/05/2025). Solo unos días después de descubrir este tumor, Arleth se sometió a una cirugía para aliviar la presión en su cerebro y extirpar el tumor (22/05/25). Su cirugía salió bien, pero los doctores no pudieron extirpar todo el tumor y actualmente no saben exactamente qué causó su crecimiento ni si es canceroso. Desde entonces, ha estado hospitalizada en Childrens en Dallas y sometiéndose a tratamientos constantes para continuar drenando el líquido de su cerebro. Actualmente tiene un succionador conectado y sigue en el hospital, probablemente necesitando otra cirugía cerebral para añadir otra forma de drenar el líquido, ya que la presión le está causando dolores de cabeza. Araceli también tiene otra hija, Michelle, que tiene 13 años y tiene necesidades especiales, y un hijo de 15 años. Mientras intenta pasar el mayor tiempo posible con su hija Arleth en el hospital, Araceli no ha podido trabajar y es madre soltera. Necesita ayuda de cualquier manera, ya que todo esto ha llegado tan rápido.
