As many of you know, Arien is in need of a liver transplant.

Because of a blood disorder called hemoglobin e it has been extremely difficult to find a donor who not only matches blood types, has enough healthy liver to donate, but also possesses this disorder.

His parents (Sema & Shekhar) are paying from their own funds to keep him in the hospital during this extended period to ensure that Arien is healthy enough to undergo and survive the upcoming surgery.

The hospital stay is costing them about 30,000 rupees a day, which roughly comes out to $340 US dollars. He's already been there for a couple weeks. It adds up quickly, and that's a lot for anyone of us to take on, let alone that this money should be their retirement fund.

I'm hoping that we can pull together enough money to help cover not only the hospital stay, but also part of the surgery so they don't dry up their life savings!
