Hi, I’m Ari.

I’ve never had a home. I grew up in a house where I was abused verbally, physically, and sexually. As soon as I was old enough, I left. Ever since I have been 18 I’ve been jumping from house to house, state to state, boyfriend to boyfriend. I’ve never found a safe place to land.

Last month I had to move back in with my parents as I have been searching for a job for months and can’t find any.

Tonight, 03/30/26 they kicked me out. My mother, who has always been abusive, decided I had talked back to her enough and kicked me out. How did I talk back to her? By saying she can’t say the R-slur because it’s offensive.

So, here’s the situation: I got into Shenandoah University to study Poltical Science in the fall. However, I need housing and food until then.

It will go towards food, shelter, and paying off my credit card so my credit isn’t an issue while looking for somewhere to live.

I hope that you can spare some money so I can finally be safe.
