My name is Sheronea Wallace Altunbas, and I’m reaching out for your help. My mother, Ardlette Goodlett, lost her home in Ashton, Westmoreland, Jamaica, after the devastating impact of Hurricane Melissa.
The storm tore through our community, leaving many families, including my mother, without a roof over their heads. Her small wooden home was destroyed.
Despite the loss, she remains strong and hopeful. My goal is to raise enough funds to help her rebuild a safe and sturdy home where she can live comfortably again. The funds raised will go directly toward:
- Building materials (lumber, zinc, cement, blocks, steel)
- Furniture and household essentials
- Basic food and clothing to help get back on her feet. Even the smallest contribution will make a huge difference. If you’re unable to donate, please consider sharing this with others who might be able to help. My mother has always been someone who gives whatever she has to others; now I’m hoping we can give something back to her in her time of need.
Thank you for your kindness, prayers, and support.
